Yellow Dress Ministries was officially founded on March 9th, 2018. However, this ministry was alive in the heart of the founder, Ondina Dakdduk, long before the ministry’s name was even established. That ministry was a vision, a dream, and a purpose that had not yet found its way into the world.
Ondina was born and raised in Honduras and knows what it is like to live as a child in that country. With little food and education, there is no hope for children to have a brighter future. Ondina remembers her grandmother, Sabina, who was an orphan growing up in Honduras. Sabina never knew how to read or write, and this inspired Ondina’s passion for educating children in Honduras. Ondina dreamed of being able to help children receive an education, regardless of their background or status.
Ondina dreamed it would be possible for any child regardless of their background or status to achieve a good education.
