A child born in poverty who is given a
complete education has a greater chance of leaving their circumstances and achieving
a better future.
Honduras has the third-highest illiteracy rate in Central
America, but children who can read are more likely to get jobs and lead
successful lives.
Furthermore,
when a child is educated and given extensive knowledge of the world, their
lives can be saved by being better informed about health, diseases, and
prevention.
In general, children who live in poverty, have a greater appreciation
for what they are given.
When they are educated, they truly become empowered to
take on a greater purpose in life. The more they know, the more they become
confident and passionate about finding an opportunity to live a better life.
